CORE FILL-500 FOAM |
CORE FILL-500 foam is a superior insulation material for use in Commercial and Industrial masonry block construction. The foam is injected into the core of the masonry block through small holes drilled into the mortar joints. It completely fills and seals all voids since it is injected under pressure. It is unlike polyurethane foam in that it is a non-expanding material and does not exert any pressure when being installed in the blocks. It has exceptional insulation qualities: R-14.2 in a 8" concrete 2-core lightweight block and R-20 in a 12" block. The foam also provides the masonry assembly with a 4-HR fire-rating! Another benefit of the product is it will provide an acoustical rating to the masonry block. Using this method of insulation eliminates the typical "build-out" of a frame wall to hold fiberglass insulation, which reduces the interior working space of a building, and it is considerably more effective as an insulation material. Core Fill-500 foam has been used extensively in new and existing construction in the WNY & PA areas for companies such as: WAL-MART, Dick's Sporting Goods, K-MART, Lowe's, Circuit City, Erie Community College, N.Y. Power Authority, Goodyear Dunlop Tires, as well as hundreds of privately owned companies. KEY BENEFITS: New or existing building applications Provides a 4-HR Fire-rating Provides up to an R-20 Assembly Rating Provides acoustical benefits (sound reduction through block) Remains in-place for the life of the structure - (It will not "settle" like other insulations) Does not contain CFC's or Formaldehyde |
